My passion for therapy and destigmatizing mental health care has been on the forefront for my journey as a therapist. I’m dedicated to supporting individuals on their own journey towards mental wellness and self-discovery while providing a safe and inclusive space.

I prioritize creating a warm, nonjudgmental environment where you can explore thoughts, feelings, and identities openly and authentically. Each person’s experience is unique and I am here to provide you support, validation, and guidance every step of the way. Whether you’re seeking therapy for anxiety, depression, trauma, or navigating life transitions, we will work collaboratively to create a therapeutic plan that aligns with your needs and values. I firmly believe that clients are the experts of their own lives which keeps you in charge of your own healing and growth.

I recognize the importance of addressing systematic inequalities and power dynamics that impact our mental health. My feminist perspective acknowledges the connection between various social identities such as gender, race, sexuality, and class. I strive to create a therapeutic space that is affirming and sensitive to the diverse experiences of all individuals.

My hometown is a small town in central Illinois but I moved to Chicago several years ago to further my education by pursuing a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have finished my coursework and I’m ready to apply my clinical experience and continue spreading empathy and understanding. As your counselor, we can move towards greater self-awareness, resilience, and empowerment.

If I’m not at the office, I’m out walking my pug named Jeff, reading, spending time with my family, taking care of my plants, and enjoying the city!
